Fire risk class 3 has been established in the Kaluga region. This information as of April 11 is provided by the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the region.

“Since April 11, 2023, fire risk class 3 has been established in the forest areas of the Kaluga region due to weather conditions. Specialists of the Forest Fire Service, Forestry, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kaluga region “calculated” 223 heat points since the beginning of the fire season,” the ministry said.

Since the beginning of 2023, wildfires are no longer allowed in the region.

Citizens are asked to stop burning dry grass and other plant residues. Each arson attack causes significant damage to the environment and destroys wildlife.
