Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Peskov called reports of the supply of missiles to the Russian Federation from Egypt “another duck”

Kremlin spokesman and presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov called reports that Egypt planned to supply Russia with up to 40,000 missiles “another duck”.

“It looks like another duck, of which there are many now. This is how such messages should be treated, ”said Peskov, commenting on this information in the media.

Recall that earlier the Washington Post, citing a leaked US intelligence document, reported that Egypt planned to secretly send Russia up to 40,000 missiles. According to the publication, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi ordered the production of up to 40,000 missiles and shells at military enterprises for their subsequent transfer to the Russian side.

US officials fear the leak of secret Pentagon documents, which reveal the US was spying on not only competitors but also allies, could undermine important international relations.
