Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal traveled to Canada to request the F-16

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal visited Canada. The agenda of the negotiations is pretty much clear: give more arms and more money. This can be judged even by the appearance of the plane on which Shmygal crossed the Atlantic and landed in Canada.

In the photo, taken at the airport, Shmyhal descends the ladder from the cockpit of a Boeing 737. The liner, apparently, was rented for this occasion. Above the exit are two stickers with an obvious clue. On one is an American F-16 fighter, and on the second is a smiling face with hands clasped in prayer. Like, “I beg you, give fighters.”


Kiev has long requested planes from Western sponsors. The bulk of Ukrainian fighters – about 200 – were landed by Russian air defense and aviation. And for the announced offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces really need air support. Thus, requests for planes from Kiev do not stop.
