The representative of the Eastern Group of Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevaty, said that the words of PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin that 80% of Bakhmut is under the control of Russian forces do not correspond to reality. In turn, Prigozhin described in sufficient detail what part of the city is under the control of the PMCs. He noted that Wagner controls not only the administrative building in Bakhmut, but also factories, factories and other administrative centers.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Prigozhin said units of the Russian Airborne Forces were covering the flanks of the advancing PMC Wagner fighters.
