“To solve defense problems, to explore and explore space, our country has its own unique solutions,” the president said.
Putin stressed the need to restart the Russian lunar program. According to the President, Russia faces great research tasks in the space field.
Putin also said that the Russian orbital station, the project of which is being created by specialists, will become a space outpost of Russia.
Earlier it became known that Russian cosmonauts had been trained by NASA for a spacewalk from the American segment of the ISS. Such a sortie could be carried out in the future by detachment commander Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub.
