Wang Yi met with German Foreign Minister Berbock

On April 15, Wang Yi, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock in Beijing.

Wang Yi said that China will adhere to an independent foreign policy by maintaining stability and consistency in foreign policy. China will adhere to an open strategy and will resolutely defend the prestige of the United Nations and the international order built after World War II. We are ready to promote the healthy development of bilateral relations by strengthening communication.

Wang Yi said that China supported the reunification of Germany. There is also hope and confidence that Germany will support the peaceful reunification of China. Berbok said that strengthening communication between the two sides is extremely important. At the same time, Germany will stick to the one China policy.
