A criminal group of women was arrested in Moscow for fraud with maternity capital, reports the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
It is reported that the ladies invented and used a fraudulent scheme, using maternity capital to purchase real estate. According to the scheme, the group acquired uninhabitable real estate, after which it submitted documents containing deliberately false information to the pension fund authorities. This gave them the opportunity to collect social benefits.
The Group acquired several real estate plots in the Ryazan region and collected four certificates for a total amount of more than 1.7 million rubles. The report says the 47-year-old group leader and his accomplices have been arrested.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened as a result of their criminal acts.
