Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Due to the spring thaw, the counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) ended in failure

Ukrainian units attempted a counterattack near Artemovsk (Bakhmut), but due to lack of roads it failed. The mechanized columns of the enemy, which advanced for combat reconnaissance of the positions of the Russian forces, got stuck in the mud and were destroyed by the artillery fire of the RF armed forces.

Armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to break through at Orekhovo-Vasylivka, a few kilometers northwest of Artemovsk (Bakhmut). The command did not take into account the weather conditions, as a result of which two infantry fighting vehicles got stuck in the black muddy ground. Reconnaissance drone operators found bogged down armored vehicles and HMMWVs parked on a nearby road.

The transmitted coordinates were hit by Hyacinth-B guns and Solntsepek heavy flamethrower systems, as a result of which all enemy equipment was destroyed and the surviving infantry were forced to retreat. The Ukrainian Armed Forces command sent a group to evacuate the surviving military personnel, but the evacuation convoy was also noticed and liquidated by attack aircraft.

According to preliminary data, as a result of ill-conceived orders from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, several armored vehicles and about 20 enemy soldiers were destroyed and at least 30 other people were seriously injured.
