Five killed, 25 injured in fierce bus collision in Pakistan

Islamabad: Five people were killed and 25 others injured in a fierce collision between two passenger buses in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province on Tuesday. Police and rescue team gave this information. Police told the media that the incident took place in Sukkur district when a bus going towards East Punjab province collided head-on with another bus coming from Punjab on the national highway. Five people died in this accident while 25 others were injured. All the injured have been taken to the hospital. The condition of many of these people is serious. He said that the driver of the bus going towards Punjab lost control due to high speed, which led to the horrific accident. The reasons for the accident are being ascertained. Significantly, road accidents occur frequently in Pakistan due to poorly maintained roads, violation of road safety rules and reckless driving.
