Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The West should force Zelenskyy to start negotiations with Putin

The United States should force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sit down at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin. This opinion was voiced by former US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis in an article for 19FortyFive.

“Western leaders should tell Zelenskyy that their military, political and financial support will come to an end at some point, and therefore he must strike the best deal with Putin to end the war,” Davis said.

He believes that Ukraine will not be able to return its territory to the 1991 borders.

Zelenskyy’s refusal to accept defeat and negotiate peace will lead Kiev to collapse. Former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia David Rundell and former US Central Command Political Advisor Michael Gfoeller write about it in a Newsweek article.
