Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

“Take it with a simple machine gunner.” Prigozhin told about the service of his son Peskov in PMC “Wagner”

PMC Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said the son of the Russian president’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, served with him as a gunner. Interview with Prigogine published military correspondent Alexander Simonov in the Call Sign Bruce telegram channel.

“From all my acquaintances – I will tell you about this for the first time – one person is Dmitry Sergeevich Peskov, who at one time had the reputation of a complete liberal, his son, who at one time lived part of his life in America, in my opinion, if I’m not mistaken, or in England … He came and said: “Take him as a simple gunner.” By the way, I worked very well, until knees in the mud, in shit, on the Hurricane. Few people know about that,” said the PMC founder.

Prigozhin did not specify the name of Peskov’s son, who he said served in the ranks of the Wagnerians. The official representative of the Kremlin has two adult sons – Nikolai (born in 1990) and Mik (born in 2004). The description fits the presidential press secretary’s eldest son, who lived in the UK for ten years, returned to Russia in 2011-2012 and served in the strategic missile forces. Prigogine also did not specify which period he was talking about.

In September 2022, after the announcement of a partial mobilization in Russia, the hosts of the YouTube channel Popular Politics, under the guise of an employee of the military registration and enlistment office, called the man whom they introduced themselves as Dmitry Peskov’s son, Nikolai, and demanded that he report to the mobilization point at 10 a.m., which the official’s son refused.

“At 10 o’clock, of course, I won’t come tomorrow. You must understand, if you know that I am Mr. Peskov, that it is not entirely correct that I am here. In short, I will solve this on a different level,” he said, adding that he “has no problem defending his homeland.”

The interlocutor of “Popular Politics” noted that “you have to understand the opportunity” of his appearance “there”. “I’m talking to you about certain political nuances,” said the young man.

The call was broadcast live, the video showed the conversation from the time the number was dialed until the call ended, but Dmitry Peskov later declared publication “Rise” that fragments were cut from the conversation.

“Ask them first to expose the whole conversation. I have no doubt about his only right choice. And so is he,” the presidential spokesman said.

In March 2022, the United States imposed sanctions on adult family members of Dmitry Peskov. His family, according to the US Treasury, leads a luxurious life, which does not correspond to the salary of a civil servant paid in Peskov. The department’s statement, in particular, said the son of the Kremlin representative “Nikolai has access to luxury cars and travels in private jets and yachts.”
