The Qatar Science Club is establishing 8 digital fabrication laboratories in a number of public schools, with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, with the aim of increasing the number of innovators and attracting scientific talents wishing to choose scientific majors in universities. The establishment of the laboratories also aims to provide the labor market with the required and qualified needs of the creative Qatari youth. Ms. Fatima Al-Mohannadi, Chairman of the Promising Innovator Committee and Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Qatar Scientific Club, said: The Qatar Science Club has set among its priorities equipping scientific laboratories with high-performance equipment and technologies, such as: a digital manufacturing laboratory, a robotics and artificial intelligence laboratory, an innovative business incubator, and an engineering design corner. , an electronics and communications laboratory, a corner for implementing and assembling projects, and a library of materials with the aim of achieving progress in the fields of research, science and innovation in the State of Qatar with the relevant institutions. The Qatar Science Club seeks to encourage creative thinking and achieve a sustainable future for creative youth, in addition to raising awareness of the role of research and innovation in finding solutions to challenges facing individuals and institutions, and preparing active and responsible Qatari youth with a sense of patriotism to achieve the goals and objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
