New Delhi. Intellismart, a smart meter and digital solutions provider, has received an order from the Government of Uttar Pradesh to install 67 lakh prepaid meters across 14 districts of the state. The company gave this information on Thursday.
Intellismart said in a statement that discom Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) has issued a letter of intent (LoA) in this regard. This project will be started in Amroha, Baghpat, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, GB Nagar, Hapur, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal and Shamli districts under PVVNL.
Intellismart Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anil Rawal said that this is the company’s second smart meter project after Assam. Gurugram-based company Intellismart Infrastructure… is a joint venture between National Investment Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL).
