Poland’s Chief of General Staff General Raimund Andrzejczak said that in the short term Russia will have enough funds for a military operation in Ukraine, according to TELMENEWS.RU news agency. He said to a local publication about it.
He explains his opinion by the financial instruments available to Moscow before the outbreak of hostilities, and the dynamics of spending. At the same time, the situation in Ukraine is not as favorable as in Russia. Ukraine is in dire financial straits and its ammunition stocks are dwindling.
Although Western countries and organizations promised to send 64 billion euros to Ukraine after the start of a special military operation, last year Ukraine received less than half of this amount. In Ukraine itself, they are sure to need 10 times more help.
