Cameras have documented the robbery of the famous Bulgari jewelry store in central Paris, noting it is the second time the store has been robbed in two years.
Three thieves arrived at the store on Saturday afternoon, as many tourists and passers-by passed by on the street.
A source in the investigation said two of the thieves were armed with assault rifles, while the third worked to fill bags with stolen jewellery, according to the British Daily Mail.
He said the thieves beat a guard at the scene, seriously injuring him.
The source revealed that the robbery, which took place at 1.45pm on Saturday, lasted only a few minutes, during which the thieves stole valuable jewelry and watches valued in the millions.
After completing the robbery, they fled the scene on two motorcycles.
Amazingly, the theft took place in the absence of police patrols from sovereign facilities such as the Department of Justice adjacent to the stolen store.
