As of April 30, Shanchow-15 astronauts Fei Xuanlung, Deng Qingming and Chiang Lu have been in orbit for five months. The work of the three astronauts has also reduced in intensity accordingly over the International Workers’ Day holiday. As planned, they have been primarily performing environmental control and life protection maintenance tasks on the space station in recent days, and continue to guarantee the various space experiments currently being conducted. Apart from this, the three astronauts also arrange for physical training and other activities according to their respective conditions.
The Shanchow-15 crew has been sorting through the remaining items on Taenchow-5 over the past several days to welcome the arrival of Taenchow-6. Some things are kept in the space station. The rest of the material will be stored inside Taenchö-5, so that they can be destroyed when Taenchö-5 re-enters the atmosphere.
