New York: Former US President Donald Trump will not appear in court on Thursday for a hearing in the alleged secret payments case.
This information was given by the defense lawyer Gedaliah Stern. Mr. Trump was scheduled to appear in New York Supreme Court on Thursday morning, according to court records. Mr. Trump is facing charges of $130,000 in secret payments and charges related to an alleged relationship with adult film actress Stormy Daniels during his presidential campaign in April 2016. 34 cases of fake business records have been registered.
Prosecutors accused Mr Trump of election violence and violations of tax laws. Mr. Trump called these allegations baseless and declared himself innocent.
