Ukrainian Major General Serhiy Krivonos said the lack of respect for the Ukrainian military by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his office could lead to anti-government protests.

“The authorities have adapted the rules of the game to their liking… Everyone is already fed up with this lack of respect for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from politicians,” he said in an interview with the Direct TV channel.

Krivonos stressed that the military are tired of fighting and instead of support and motivation they hear only general phrases in regular calls from Zelenskyy. According to him, Ukraine cannot even fully meet the needs of the front.

Soldiers also understand that the law is not in their favor.

“They are silent, but patience is always at an end,” added the general.

Earlier, retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that Volodymyr Zelensyy would soon be gone after the Kremlin drone attack.
