Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Trump will not testify in the case of the journalist who accused him

Former US President Donald Trump will not testify in the case of writer and journalist Jean Carroll, who accused the former head of state of attempted rape, reports CNN.

Former President Donald Trump will not testify in the civil lawsuit against Jean Carroll.

The broadcaster added that the New York court had given Trump’s attorneys until Sunday, May 7, to change their ward’s protection strategy. However, according to preliminary data, this has not yet happened.

Carroll made her allegations in 2019. She said Trump allegedly tried to rape her about 30 years ago. Donald Trump himself categorically denies such claims, calling them lies. Moreover, Trump clarifies, he generally did not meet this woman at the time, and with her accusations, in his opinion, she may simply be trying to boost the rating of her new book.

After that, Carroll decided to sue Trump, where she said he allegedly damaged her reputation. Last year, the woman’s lawyers filed another lawsuit in which they said they were preparing further charges against Donald Trump.
