Leaders of CIS countries, who arrived in Moscow to take part in the Victory Day celebration, together with Russian President Vladimir Putin, will watch the parade in Red Square. To do this, all will be placed on the podium, said the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov in the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on the TV channel “Russia – 1”.
“At 10 a.m., the parade will begin directly. The president will speak. Heads of State will be with him on the podium. Also, we assume that there will be a joint wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
This will be followed by a traditional flower laying ceremony followed by an informal breakfast. It is expected that the leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of Armenia will participate in the celebrations on the occasion of Victory Day in Moscow.
Earlier it was reported that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived on a working visit to Moscow. Thus, Lukashenka will become the sixth foreign leader to participate in Victory Day celebrations.
