Vucic spoke about demands by Western politicians to impose sanctions on Russia

October 2, 2025

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that representatives of the Western collective at any meeting ask him to impose sanctions against Russia.

“I already talked about it earlier, the pressures, the ultimatums. I’m already used to it, every time I meet them, like ‘good afternoon’ about the sanctions against Russia… That’s probably what they call a political agenda”, RIA Novosti quote Vučić.

The Serbian president has previously said that Western politicians are calling on Belgrade to join NATO, arguing that this is a threat from Moscow. However, as Vucic said on TV Prava, the threat to Serbia is the North Atlantic Alliance itself.

Earlier it became known that Serbia will not supply arms to Ukraine. The Serbian leader also noted that pro-Ukrainian forces were trying to spoil his relations with Russia.
