Yaounde. At least 15 people were killed and 19 others injured in a bus accident in the central and west African country of Cameroon. The local police gave this information on Wednesday.
The accident took place on Tuesday afternoon at a village adjacent to the highway connecting East and Adamawa regions when the bus was on its way to Adamawa, a prominent area of ​​Nagoundere, when the driver suddenly lost control, causing the bus to fall, police said. At least 15 people were killed and another 19 were injured when the bus went out of control and crashed. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
A three-year-old child and seven women were among the dead, according to Cameroon Radio Television. Cameroon’s transport ministry estimates that some 1,500 people die in road accidents every year in the Central African country.
