New Delhi. Four motorcycle-borne men have been arrested for allegedly thrashing a man after stopping his car in west Delhi’s Nangloi area. The police gave this information on Wednesday. Police said that the incident of road rage took place on Sunday near Nangloi metro station.
The victim Praveen Jangra tweeted a video at 8.52 am on Monday morning and wrote, “Some miscreants stopped me in the middle of the road and beat me up. All this happened at Nangloi Railway/Metro station. This type of hooliganism has become common in the capital of the country. Delhi Police should look into this matter and take strict action against these goons.
The video of the incident was recorded in the camera mounted on the dashboard of the car. It is seen in the video that four people who came riding on three motorcycles stopped Jangra and abused him. Police said that during the investigation it was found that he had an argument with the complainant at the red light over the use of dipper lights by the motorcyclists. Had happened.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Harendra Kumar Singh said that after seeing the tweet of the complainant, several teams were formed and on the basis of CCTV footage and other electronic means, the four were arrested from Mundka, Nangloi and Mangolpuri areas. Singh said that the accused did not have any criminal record and it was found to be a case of road rage. Legal action is being taken against the accused.
