Jaipur. The sarpanch strike ended today after meeting Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
A delegation of the Rajasthan Sarpanch Sangh met Mr. Gehlot at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday morning. Shri Gehlot assured to fulfill the demands of the representatives as per the rules. He said that the State Government was committed for the all-round development of the village and the villagers.
On meeting the Chief Minister, the Sarpanch Sangh announced to end its strike. On this occasion, the representatives also took the responsibility of providing benefits to every eligible person in inflation relief camps to provide relief to the general public from inflation. The representatives said that they will continue their participation in the camps.
