Egypt sends two medical aid planes to Sudan

A statement from the army spokesman said: “In pursuance of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives, and within the framework of Egypt’s support and solidarity with the Sudanese people in various hardships and crises, two military transport planes took off from eastern Cairo. Air base at Port Sudan airport, loaded with tons of medical cargo presented as a gift from the Ministry of Health.” And the Egyptian people to help lighten the burden on the shoulders of citizens.

On the other hand, the spokesperson referred to “the trip of a number of members of the Egyptian diplomatic mission, who must return to resume their duties at the Egyptian consulate in Port Sudan”.

Egypt had returned its nationals from Sudan, with the start of fighting between the two parties to the conflict in mid-April.
