“I killed because they encroached on Chechen honor and blood,” he said.

The incident happened in March last year near the village of Toshkovka. A special group of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, returning from a mission, boasted of the murder of Chechen soldiers from the Russian special forces regiment Ahmad.

Hearing their conversation, Dzhambetov immediately opened fire on the Ukrainian army. One of them died instantly, two others were injured.
