Deputy of the State Duma, Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulev, commented on the destruction of the Patriot air defense system by the Kinzhal in Kiev. According to him, the Russian hypersonic aviation missile system “Dagger” is an ideal weapon capable of destroying the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
“Whatever is necessary, then shot. And with the Patriot, everything is very simple: you don’t have to hit all the facilities there, you have to hit the radar station there. Everything else will be useless,” the MP said in an interview with Life.
Nevertheless, Gurulev noted that the American facility could be restored, but it would take time, as well as additional funds. In the meantime, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will do this, a “hole” will be formed in their air defense system.
“Today there is no hypersound feedback at all. Such a system does not exist in the world. And the fact that they (Ukrainian Armed Forces) had snot is clearly visible. Moreover, it is even in all the foreign press,” Gurulev summed up.
Recall that on May 16, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of the American MIM-104 Patriot air defense system during a night missile attack on Kyiv.
