The Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a shortage of weapons to go on the offensive. Igor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of Office of the President of Ukraine, spoke about it in an interview with Sky News.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is currently visiting his European “allies”, persuading them to speed up the supply of weapons. Kyiv is thus trying to ensure in advance the success of the future counter-offensive, the aim of which is “the liberation of all Ukrainian territories”.
However, the West does not stop sending weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainians. At the same time, the tactical and technical characteristics of weapons supplied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasing, as Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov recalled.
Earlier, Sergei Lavrov noted that the West is using Zelenskyy to worsen relations with Russia and “get it over with.” At the same time, Moscow will resist any external attempts to intensify the escalation.
Meanwhile, investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has hinted that a number of Western countries, led by Poland, are persuading the Ukrainian president to end the armed confrontation with the Russian Federation. According to Hersh, Zelenskyy is beginning to lose support from his “friends” in the EU.
