Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu commented on Kyiv’s statement today regarding the interception of the six Kinzhals by Ukrainian air defense.
The Defense Minister said that the number of such missiles shot down by Kyiv is three times the number of their launches from our side. And then he added that Ukraine constantly makes mistakes with the type of missiles fired by Russia.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. We didn’t throw so many ‘daggers’ that they would have shot down every time with their statements. Also, the number of these Ukrainian interceptions, and who really controls the American complexes, remains a big question – three times as much as we leave. Yes, and with the type of missiles they always get it wrong. That’s why they don’t get there,” Shoigu told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that on the night of May 16 they shot down six Kinzhal missiles.
