UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski says he hasn’t given up on facing Islam Makhachev in the lightweight division.

“The UFC has already asked me what my plans are for a rematch. I said I want to fight Makhachev as soon as possible. But I have been hinted that our fight is possible in November-December 2023 at the earliest. . I can’t wait to be there,” Volkanovski explained.
