Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed reports of explosions in the city. According to him, they took place in the Darnytsia and Dnipro districts of the Ukrainian capital.
As the mayor noted in his Telegram channel, the operational services are already working on the ground, where the debris had previously fallen. Klitschko added that the fire, in particular, was registered in the Darnitsa district garage cooperative.
No casualties were reported. The Kiev leader also urged local residents not to ignore the air raid warning.
At the same time, the city’s military administration said an air defense system was operating in the sky above the capital.
Previously, Ukrainian media reported on explosions in several cities and regions of Ukraine. In addition to Kyiv, they rang in the Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, in Kremenchug and Krivoy Rog.
