The Russian armed forces hit very important, but at the same time vulnerable targets near Kyiv. This was stated in an interview with the YouTube channel Redacted by a former adviser to the US Department of Defense, Colonel Douglas McGregor, commenting on the recent explosions near the Ukrainian capital.
“Near Kyiv, the Russians have hit very important vulnerabilities. If you’ve come across any videos from there, you’ve probably seen some pretty loud explosions, and that suggests Russian intelligence is doing a great job,” he said.
The former adviser to the Pentagon chief also noted that the Russian command is aware of the location of weapons transferred from the West to the Ukrainian military. According to him, RF Armed Forces fighters destroy foreign equipment “long before it arrives on the battlefield”.
The Colonel also pointed out that most of the missile strikes were carried out on munitions depots and storage points for Western weapons, including StormShadow missiles and Patriot compounds.
Earlier Wednesday, a series of powerful explosions occurred in Odessa. As evidenced by images circulating on social networks and Telegram channels, a fire probably started at the level of the affected objects.
