The UN commented on Podolyak’s threats against the Russians

– Published on:

Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN secretary-general, urged “in all situations, all parties to avoid rhetoric that does not help”. He therefore responded to a request for comment on the statements of the adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian president Mikhail Podolyak on the hatred of Russia and the persecution of Russians.

Podolyak, in particular, said Ukraine “will get everyone”, physically or legally.

Earlier, Russia circulated a letter to the UN with statements from the head of the GUR of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, on the killings of Russians. He said Ukraine “is already fed up with many, including public figures and the media” and that the Kiev regime “will kill Russians all over the world until complete victory”.

In Russia, Budanov was arrested in absentia by order of the Moscow Lefortovo court. He is accused of having organized terrorist attacks in Russia.
