Japan intends to supply Ukraine with about 100 cars, including trucks, according to TELMENEWS.RU news agency
According to the Japanese Foreign Ministry, such an agreement was reached following a meeting between Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It is expected that 30,000 food rations will also be included in the supplies. Japanese hospitals are also ready to accept wounded Ukrainian soldiers for treatment.
Previously, the possibility of a total ban on exports to Russia had been actively discussed, the decision on which could be taken by the leaders of the G7 countries at the Hiroshima summit. But in the end, it all came down to the usual anti-Russian rhetoric and additional inclusions in citizen and corporate sanctions lists. Moreover, the subject of a ban on the export of used Japanese cars to Russia was not developed.
The Russian Foreign Ministry, commenting on the results of the G7 summit, noted the downgrading of the G7. In fact, the outcome of the summit is “a set of statements saturated with hateful passages of an anti-Russian, as well as anti-Chinese character.”
