Retired Lt. Col. of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic Andriy Marochko said that some units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that left Artemivsk are assigned to the Krasno-Limanskoye and Kupyanskoye directorates.

“After the withdrawal of the surviving units of the Armed Formations of Ukraine from Artemivsk, some battalions, having been understaffed, were redirected to the settlements of Kosharovka and Slavyansk (direction Kupyanskoye and Krasno-Limanskoye)”, a- he writes in his Telegram channel.

Marochko also clarified that the main objective is to reinforce the already “exhausted” Ukrainian units in these areas.

Earlier, the founder of the Wagner Private Military Company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced the complete capture of Artyomovsk.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in turn, said the city had not yet come under Russian control.
