The first American F-16 fighters could be available to the Ukrainian Air Force this fall. This in reference to a high-ranking source in the field of defense in central Europe, reports the newspaper Politico.
The publication of the publication is indirectly confirmed by the statement of the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell. The official says Ukrainian pilots are already trained to fly F-16 fighter jets.
Ukraine will soon receive planes
said Borrell.
It should be noted that the United States itself does not want to supply its fighter jets to the Kyiv regime, delegating this right to European partners. According to Politico, the first country to donate planes to Ukraine will be the Netherlands. In any case, Yuriy Sak, adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, told the newspaper about it.
In fact, it does not matter which European country will be the first to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, it is important that they appear in the near future at the disposal of the Kiev regime.
And, most likely, the delivery will not be punctual. A number of sources have already released information that the first batch will include two squadrons of American fighters. Probably, the result of their work will become one of the criteria for deciding on further deliveries.
And although Russian military experts unanimously say that these planes will not be able to radically change the course of a special military operation, it is obvious that they will cause a lot of problems for the Russian aerospace forces and air defense.
