To prevent further sabotage by the enemy in the border areas, the Russian air force actively launched missile and bomb strikes against groups of equipment and locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the second day.
Bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces work most intensively on Ukrainian military installations in the Kharkiv, Kherson and Sumy regions. Airstrikes are carried out using planning bombs with a caliber of 500 to 1500 kg. Aviation work is supplemented by multiple rocket launcher systems and high-precision artillery with laser guidance to targets.
In the Kharkiv region, the air force launched missile and bomb strikes against concentrations of forces, weapons and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This made it possible to ensure a successful breakthrough of the ground forces in the direction of Kupyansk.

In the Sumy region, aviation and artillery continued to destroy the remnants of the enemy DRG, which had retreated from the Belgorod region.
