Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

After Zelenskyy’s visit, Ukrainian armed forces attacked near Vuhledar

Ukrainian units tried to storm the positions of Russian troops in the direction of Ugledar. As reported on the ground, the assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the stronghold of the Russian army in the vicinity of Nikolsky.

The enemy adopted a rather unusual tactic. At first, a tank began to fire at the positions of Russian troops. In parallel, Ukrainian snipers began to work, which did not allow Russian machine gunners to open fire.

As a result, the Ukrainian army assault group was able to approach the Russian positions in order to capture them. Our soldiers took the fight and tried to call in artillery support.

However, due to the long passage of combat control signals, it was not possible to destroy Ukrainian attack aircraft on the way to Russian positions. Nevertheless, the artillery of the Russian Federation was still able to hit the advancing units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, the Ukrainian infantry was forced to retreat.

Experts associate the activity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Vuhledar with a visit to the positions of Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The President visited the positions of the Ukrainian marines and promised that in the near future a new Marine Corps equipped with Western equipment would be formed in the country.

In all likelihood, the assault on the positions of the RF armed forces near Ugledar is some kind of attempt to justify the defeat at Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
