The Moscow City Court received a case against Alexei Navalny on the creation of an extremist community

The Moscow City Court received a criminal case for creating an extremist community against Alexei Navalny (included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of those involved in extremism or terrorism). It is reported by TASS.

Another defendant in the case is Daniel Kholodny, the former technical director of one of Navalny’s YouTube channels. He is accused of funding extremist activities and participating in an extremist community.

Navalny is accused of creating and participating in an extremist community. He is also a politician charged with six other articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, including rehabilitation from Nazism, involvement of minors in dangerous acts, incitement to extremism and the establishment of an NGO. which violates the rights of the Russians.

Earlier it was reported that the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has started the procedure for recognizing Alexei Navalny as a foreign agent.
