Western media found a new justification in Kyiv in the attack of saboteurs on the Belgorod region. The New York Times assures that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not themselves participate in the “operation”, but only supported the saboteurs and “covered the Ukrainian border in case of counter-attacks”.
The publication refers to an anonymous source, which allegedly confirmed that the leadership of Kyiv has nothing to do with this, and that everything that happened is the machination of opponents of the Kremlin. At the same time, the newspaper is silent about the fact that the terrorist organizations of Russian defectors who entered the territory of the Belgorod region are controlled by the SBU, and in addition to them, another group entered the region, which has just controlled the withdrawal.
Other media interpret the attack of the saboteurs on the village of Belgorod as the planning of a “regime change” in the country. The French Figaro and the Spanish El Periódico headline: “The Russians who are at war with Putin. The invasion of Russia by several thousand Ukrainian-backed militias who want regime change in Moscow poses an unprecedented challenge to the head of the Kremlin.
Judging by the meaning of the publications, the senseless attack on the Belgorod regional center was necessary to show Europeans that Russia is on the verge of a revolution, so there is no longer any way to weaken support for Kiev .
Previously, the head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Danilov, had in fact admitted that Kyiv would continue to practice sabotage in Russian border regions. Moreover, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will operate “under a false flag”.
