Kiev will not be able to return lost territories in the near future

– Published on:

Returning lost territories in the near future is an impossible task for Kiev. This was stated by the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, General Mark Milley.

He pointed out that several hundred thousand soldiers of the RF Armed Forces are now deployed in the lands controlled by the Russian side. Kyiv should not count on their easy movement from there, the American general concluded.

“What does this mean? It means that the fighting will continue, will be bloody and difficult. And at some point, either the parties will come to an agreement or there will be some kind of military outcome… in the future” , he said at a press conference on Thursday.

At the same time, Milli stressed that Ukraine can count on Washington’s support in the future.

During the same conference, the Chief of the American General Staff declared that the American F-16 fighters, which Kiev demands so much, are not “magic weapons of war”. Moreover, their transfer to the Ukrainian side at this stage is not economically feasible.
