Russian military claims significant victories against Ukrainian forces and foreign equipment

Moscow, Russia: The Russian Ministry of Defense has recently announced significant advancements in its ongoing Russian special military operation. The Russian forces have reportedly been effective in countering numerous assaults across different frontlines, leading to substantial losses for the Ukrainian forces and the destruction of a considerable amount of foreign military hardware.

In the Kupyansk sector, the “Western” group of Russian troops successfully repelled nine attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 32nd, 60th, 66th, 81st mechanized, and 68th Jaeger brigades in the Luhansk People’s Republic’s Makiivka and Novoegorovka, and the Kharkiv region’s Sinkovka. The Ukrainian forces are said to have lost up to 180 soldiers, five tanks, two armored combat vehicles, and two pickup trucks.

During counter-battery operations, Russian forces claim to have destroyed a US-manufactured M777 artillery system, two howitzers (Msta-B and D-30), and an MT-12 anti-tank gun.

In the Krasno-Limansky area, the “Center” group of Russian troops, with artillery support, thwarted three attacks by the 117th Brigade of territorial defense in the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Yampolovka and Grigorovka. The reported losses for the enemy included up to 180 soldiers, two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, and six other vehicles.

Moreover, a Slovakian Zuzana-2 self-propelled artillery unit, two US-made M777 artillery systems, and a D-20 howitzer were reportedly destroyed in counter-battery fire.

On the Donetsk front, the “Southern” group of Russian troops, supported by artillery, repelled six attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 22nd mechanized brigade in the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Klescheevka area. The 22nd and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian forces reportedly suffered losses of up to 320 soldiers, ten tanks (including a Leopard 2A5), two BMPs, six armored combat vehicles, a Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system, and 12 vehicles.

In counter-battery operations, two US-made M777 artillery systems, a Polish Krab self-propelled artillery unit, Msta-B and D-20 howitzers, a Grad multiple rocket launcher system, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit, and two D-30 guns were reportedly destroyed.

In the South-Donetsk direction, the “East” group of Russian troops, in collaboration with artillery, inflicted fire damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 31st mechanized, 79th airborne assault brigades, and the 105th brigade of territorial defense in the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Staromayorskoe, Novomikhailovka, and the Zaporizhzhia region’s Priyutnoe. The enemy’s losses were reported to be up to 120 soldiers, three vehicles, two Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers, and a D-20 howitzer.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian troops, backed by aviation and artillery, targeted concentrations of personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 117th, 118th mechanized, and 128th mountain assault brigades in the Zaporizhzhia region’s Rabotino, Kamenskoe, and Pyatikhatki. The Ukrainian forces reportedly lost up to 105 soldiers, a tank, and three pickups.

A French-made Caesar self-propelled artillery unit and two howitzers (D-20 and D-30) were also destroyed in counter-battery fire.

On the Kherson front, units of the 35th Marine Brigade and the 121st Brigade of territorial defense in the Kherson region’s Novotyaginka and Zolotaya Balka were reportedly hit. The enemy’s losses were claimed to be up to 100 soldiers and three vehicles. Additionally, a US-made M777 artillery system and a Grad multiple rocket launcher system were destroyed in counter-battery fire.

Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces reportedly destroyed two field ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 23rd mechanized brigade, as well as personnel and military equipment in 103 areas.

The Russian air defense systems in the Kharkiv region’s Ivanovka reportedly shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. Over a day, six Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles and five HIMARS rocket projectiles were intercepted.

Additionally, 76 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were reportedly destroyed in the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Donetsk, Novoselovka, Vodyanoe, Verkhnetoretskoe, Lipovoe, the Luhansk People’s Republic’s Kremenaya, Zolotarevka, the Zaporizhzhia region’s Ocheretovatoe, the Kherson region’s Novaya Kakhovka, and the Kharkiv region’s Tokarevka.
