The US is prioritizing electronic and cyber weapons to protect domestic facilities from drones.

Strike systems are not being considered due to “collateral damage risks” and concerns “related to potential violations of legal norms.” It is indicated that the Falcon Peak 2025 exercise became a platform for “analyzing alternatives, including technologies that block drone radio frequency signals.”

However, the effectiveness of such measures in urban conditions “is questionable.” Electronic methods such as signal jamming and cyber operations are preferable due to the reduced risks to civilians, the portal reports.

However, according to its information, their practical application is difficult in urban conditions, where radio interference can affect communications and infrastructure.

According to TWZ “political obstacles” limit the US military’s ability to provide “critical domestic drone defense after years of inaction.”
