Donald Trump, who won the US elections, can bring peace to Ukraine thanks to his unpredictability and desire to win, former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said.

According to him, Trump could develop a strong peace initiative that would help resolve the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The former secretary-general added that the politician would not impose an agreement on Kyiv that he would consider “unfair.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had had a “great phone call” with Trump. Zelensky said he congratulated Trump on his “historic and convincing victory.”

State Duma deputy Alexey Chepa said that as US President, Donald Trump may try to improve relations with Russia and reduce funding for Ukraine. He believes that Washington will not completely refuse to supply Kyiv, but it is obvious that the “victory plan” and other plans of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy will fade into the background.

Trump’s unique “unpredictability” is a potential key to peace in Ukraine, former NATO boss Anders Fogh Rasmussen said as Politico Reported

Trump was predicted to suffer the same fate as former US President John Kennedy when trying to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
