At some point on Monday, Chiron stops moving forward at 0 degrees and 52 minutes of Taurus and begins to travel backwards. It will not turn direct again until January 2027. This is the first Chiron station in Taurus since 1983, a gap of forty three years, and it lands on a day when the Moon is already burning through Aries and the two slowest revolutions in the sky, Saturn and Neptune, are waiting there for it.
Chiron entered Taurus on 19 June for the first time in a generation and spent six weeks introducing the themes of that sign: money, the body, security, self-worth. And the clock is running. In nine days, on 12 August, the Moon will cover the Sun in a total solar eclipse at 20 degrees of Leo, and the shadow will cross Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia and northern Spain, the first totality visible from mainland Europe since 1999. The Pisces Moon chart that closed July was the last easy day inside that loading window. Monday is not.
