Mainz – The limitations of social life in the Corona crisis, existential concerns and spatial constraints can lead to aggression and domestic violence. According to the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Family and Women’s Affairs, this is also shown by experience from other countries during the Corona crisis.

The situation of women who already suffer from violence is thus exacerbated. Therefore, more places would have to be created temporarily and temporarily in Rhineland-Palatinate for women in need. Minister for Women Anne Spiegel (Greens) presents the plans today in Mainz.
