Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to involve representatives of religious organizations in the Donbas TCG.

Zelenskyyy said this at a meeting with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, stated press service President’s office.

According to him, they can help in the field of humanitarian issues.

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the representatives of religious organizations for participating in the TCG meeting and spoke in favor of adding them to the TCG’s work in the field of humanitarian issues, in particular the mutual release of detainees, the access of the International Committee of the Red Cross to places of detention in the temporarily occupied territories, and the like,” says the message.

As a reminder, during the last meeting, the representative of Russia in the TCG for Donbass Boris Gryzlov openly threatened the “LDNR” terrorists controlled by the Russian Federation with a “response” because of Ukraine’s desire to return the occupied Donbass on its own terms.
