Ukraine: This is what the surrender of the last fighters from Azovstal looked like

Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced that after the surrender of the last Ukrainian Azov fighters, it completely “liberated” the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol.

A video was posted on Twitter showing the surrender of Ukrainian Azov fighters from Azovstal.

Russian soldiers examined Ukrainian Azov fighters, and some showed their tattoos in front of cameras at the request of Russian troops.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenko said that 2,439 Ukrainian members of the defense had surrendered at the Azovstal steel plant since May 16, and the last 500 on Friday.
