Ukraine’s allies to discuss new military aid

On Tuesday, Brussels will host a meeting of representatives of the defense departments of the group of allies of Ukraine, which will discuss possible additional assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces.

The next round of negotiations of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will take place on the eve of the first anniversary of the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine .

Later on Tuesday, NATO Defense Ministers will hold their talks, which will be attended by the Ukrainian Defense Minister.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Monday that Ukraine’s use of ammunition in its war against Russia exceeded supplies and that the alliance needed to increase production to meet Ukraine’s needs. .

Stoltenberg said the meeting will also discuss the controversial issue of supplying Ukraine with modern combat aircraft.
