It is impossible to supply Italian-made fighters to Ukraine. This statement was made by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. The diplomat’s statements are quoted by the newspaper Stampa.
To make deliveries, you must first coordinate with allies to find out what type of aircraft they will provide. This is done because it does not make sense to provide Ukrainians with different models, since the problem of training pilots will arise.

In this regard, according to the minister, the supply of Italian fighters to Ukraine is practically impossible.
According to the Italian Foreign Minister, the sixth package of military assistance to Ukraine has now been approved in the republic. Submission of materials is in the final stage. In addition, in the next two weeks, the Kiev regime will receive the SAMP-T system for air defense.

It should be noted that earlier the United States also announced the impossibility of supplying combat aircraft to Ukraine. A similar statement was made within the UK government. However, they promised to study this issue properly.
Apparently, in the foreseeable future, the Kiev regime will not be able to rely on Western aviation. According to experts, the real reason for the massive refusal to supply Western fighters to Ukraine is fear of Russian air defense systems.
